Frequently Asked Questions.....

  1. Do you deliver?Yes! We currently deliver from our Take Away Menu to Dunfermline, Crossgates and Rosyth area's Monday to Friday between 9am-1130am & 2pm-3.30pm.
  2. Do you Cater out with these delivery times?Yes! We cater 7 days per week to suit you event requirements. Please contact us to discuss.
  3. Why is the sit in Menu slightly more expensive than the Take Away Menu?The additional amount covers VAT and the use of our facilities.
  4. Are you on Just Eat?No. We did back in July 2016 join in Partnership with Just Eat, however due to continued problems with Just Eat being unable to get our Menu correct and operational online. After several months in the hope Just Eat would remedy the situation, we have decided not to continue with Just Eat.
  5. Can I order food online? Yes!Currently we can only take orders online for cash payment. For Card payment please call the Café or request a callback when ordering online to make a card payment.
  6. Will Card Payments be accepted online?Not yet, however this is something we are working on. Watch this space....
  7. Can I order catering online?Yes! If there is something specific you are looking for please use the contact us form on our Catering page and we will get right back to you.
  8. Can I book a table?Yes! Tables can be booked in advance by either calling us on 07514 699 866 or by emailing us at Tastecafeandsandwichbar@hotmail.com or info@tastecafeandsandwichbar.co.uk.
  9. Can I order for collection?Yes! please use the order form or call 07514 699 866. Email confirmation will be provided for email orders asap.
  10. Do you provide cakes to order?Yes we bake a variety of Homemade Cakes which are available to order and can be purchased as a whole cake or in slices. We also make a variety or other Home baked goods from Cup Cakes to Granola Bars. Vegan and Gluten free options available.
  11. Do you cater for Special Dietary requirements?Yes! All we ask is you call ahead to discuss your requirements and we will be able to advise you what is available to meet your needs.
  12. What if its not on the Menu?No problem! We strive to meet our customers needs where ever possible. If you have a special dietary requirement or are Vegan, Vegetarian or require Gluten free just let us know when you will be popping in to visit us and we will be able to suggest something to tantalise those taste buds!
  13. Do you have any connection to the Taste Café located in the Kingsgate Shopping centre in Dunfermline?No. We have no connection to Taste Dunfermline and never have had. Our food is much better! I believe this Café has been recently taken over and is now trading under a different name although have not added signage to there Café to inform anyone of their new name as yet.
